Outside of Reichard and Scott, we never had great ST play.
Nothing surprises me.
Yeah. Cochran got all of the blame in injuries while we’ve lost more in practice this year than I can ever recall before. At least Cochran lit a fire under them.
They might be soft, but they’re less beaten up.

I’ll give Meyer credit because Bama got in the 2017 playoffs over his 2-loss B1G champ team when Bama didn’t play in the SECCG.

It’s true nowadays unfortunately. Not sure if the season took its toll or they’re just not athletic enough for this offensive scheme, but they have regressed as a unit.

But it’s 12 teams now. If you think you can still make it and lose, it’s meaningless. Conference championships should be eliminated for an extra playoff round that includes 4 teams from each P4 school and remaining spots for the make-a-wish teams.
