Auburn announced this week that University radio veteran Andy Burcham will take over as the new "Voice of the Tigers," replacing the late Rod Bramblett who tragically died in a car accident in May.

Burcham will call football, men’s basketball, and baseball game for Auburn effective immediately.

Strictly speaking, people do not have replacements, they have successors. Just as Rod Bramblett succeeded Jim Fyffe, Andy will succeed Rod. He will need to make the job his own with his own style (and he will).
