Lane Kiffin Is Saying He Thinks UCF Could’ve Beaten Alabama This Year

UCF's behavior in the wake of all this has been pretty laughable but there's absolutely nothing wrong with Kiffin's opinion here.

There were 13 teams that didn't beat Alabama, and that is all that matters.

I think he is correct.

UCF beat AU in a game that was the biggest game in program history for UCF and a consolation game for AU. Massive difference in motivation. UCF could not have beaten Oklahoma or Georgia then Bama or Clemson in 8 days. They could beat one team with a month to prepare, but the grind would get them. And Bama would've boat raced them.

Kiffin's 100% correct. If it's a fair game, either team CAN win.

"Could've" and "Would've" are two different things. I agree 100% with what Kiffin said.

What UCF did is the same thing going on across America today with kids getting trophies for competing in shite. To make them feel like they won something. They played the game of their life against Auburn and I honestly believe Auburn was still shell shocked from the loss to Georgia. And UCF had plenty time to get ready for the game. You all know what momentum is about. UCF had it, Auburn didn't. No way UCF could have won back to back huge games against powerhouse teams. I'm sorry, just wouldn't happen. Good for them going undefeated, but they make themselves look stupid for being Self Declared National Champions.

And everyone born in American can be president.
