Did Trent Dilfer Gush Too Hard Over Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa On Rich Eisen Show?

I would say after the last few games last year there are questions on exactly how good he is. He obviously has great skills, but for the majority of the season, he had all day to throw to the best set of wide receivers in the country. He looked very mortal against good defenses(Georgia and Clemson) that had a good pass rush and could cover the receivers for some amount of time.

Tua just completed the best season throwing the football in College football history. He did this as a sophomore and 1st year starter.

Tua is as soft arse fresh cat shite.

Tua becomes average against good pass defenses. Clemson’s defense was baiting him into his throws.

I question his mental toughness. After every bad throw or pick, he would act “hurt”. Looks like he has the “loser’s limp” to me.

That said, he is still a good QB, but he has an nfl supporting cast with an incredible OL, 3 NFL backs, and 3-4 NFL WRs too. Hard not to look good with easy reads and nfl talent. Looks like a less talented mariota to me.
