I should have listed Florida, but I would not trade places with them either....4th coach in 10 years.....inconsistent.....some really bad years.....our bad years have 8 wins

USC-----No
UCLA----No
Michigan---No
Penn State---No
Ohio State----No
Nebraska-----No
Texas----------No
Miami---------No
in conference
Tennessee----No
Georgia--------No
Auburn--------No
----really only Alabama------In the whole country!!!
it really has been a great 10 year run and a large portion of the fanbase is miserable and wants to fire the coach anytime and every time we lose a game. Be very careful what you wish for because you might get it.
I appreciate a coach who has a record of 110 and 31..
He could lose every game for the next 6 years and still be above .500!!!!!
Who else has that record over that span that we should get in his place?
By the way, I know the answer is Saban, and he isn't coming.

I Agree with you 100%. The fan base can be very negative and really unfair in their criticism of the program and especially Coach Miles. The Media has a hand in the negativity also. Certain radio stations in the New Orleans Area always have negative things to say about LSU Football, but they will give the Saints and Tulane a pass. LSU is held to a higher standard, even though the Football team just had it's 4th Consecutive 10 WIN SEASON. (Never Done in the History of the Program)
Well, Several of the recruits that are leaving the state live in the New Orleans Area and listen to the daily negativity on the sports talk programs. Perception is reality for these young players.... And when they hear the negative, they start to be affected by the negative.

I would like to Congratulate the Entire Football Team and The Coaching Staff for all of their Hard Work and for a Great 2011 Season. Things are out of control on the Rant. These Players and Coaches busted there butts and gave us a wonderful, dominating season. (Along with an SEC Championship!!!!!) I know everyone is hurting, and I am too. But there is nobody hurting more than the Players and Coaches. I assue you they didn't want that outcome on Monday Night.
I just want to say that I appreciate all of there Blood, Sweat, and Tears and the very Successful Season.
P.S. I have visited the Rant everyday for several years and I have never, ever posted a message. Those Guys need our support now more than ever!!!
