Despite the orgasm Ole Miss fan is having right now, they are not ready to compete for an SEC West title. Having said that, they will win one of those three games; my pick - LSU. The Tigers will be dynamic and ultra talented, but in transition. Right now, Ole Miss is favored at home.
On D, we need to be strong in the middle. AJ and Ego on the line, Barrow at MLB, and Loston needs to be the 5 star safety we've been waiting for.

on to Signing Day 2014

2013 is done, on to Signing Day 2014. Big year in Louisiana coming up. Need to build a wall around the state. Of the in-state talent, who will be signing LOI's a year from now?
I will protest this dereliction of duty by leaving Tiger Stadium before the end of the 3rd quarter of every game......................wait, most people do that any way.
Young, athletic defense devoid of experience after the mass exodus of juniors to the NFL Draft. Same offense - ranked in the bottom half of the SEC. Losses to TCU, Florida, Georgia, Bama, Texas AM.

Miles gets another raise and a promotion to Head Coach Emeritus.
Miles is untouchable now. Too expensive to fire. He holds all the cards. Could go 6-6 next year and get no heat. If we do continue to slide, Alleva should be fired 1st.

LSU Football is a buzzkill. Just ask the 50,000 people that clear out of Tiger stadium at half time.

re: Are We Still An Elite Program?

No. Can't be an elite program without a good coaching staff, and we don't have one. Now Miles is untouchable. "Cheaper to Keep her", and it's always going to be about the money. We had our moment, but the trend is downward. Headed towards being middle of the pack. Get used to going to Nashville, Shreveport, or Atlanta for Bowl games.
Cluster frick at the end of the game v. Tennessee in 2010, or Ole Miss final minute in 2009.

Alternating Bowl trips between Atlanta Chicken Bowl and Nasville Music city Bowl. Consistent 3 - 4 conference losses per year. Unwatchable games, half empty Tiger Stadium by 3rd quarter.
