LSU wasn’t going to get everyone but very interested to see Ford get an offer to play in DeBoer’s system. “ “This visit tops all my other visits,” Ford said.

Disappointed Amos jumped on Ole Miss today like he did as well.

Both Opelousas kids

Well we got the #1 RB in the country and Simon probably coming also so oh well if Ford leaves. Love to have him but it’s not a big deal if he doesn’t go to LSU.

What?

Two Louisiana kids with one committing to an SEC rival and another saying an SEC suitor leads

Hence me saying: “LSU wasn’t going to get everyone.”

i guess you are talking about DShaun Ford, the 2025 RB.

Tell us who you are talking about, if you are making an OP about it.

I prefer Ford over Simon but i don't think you can go wrong. I really think Ford would be a all sec LB if he would swap to defense and get coached up by this new staff.

If LSU gets Barry and Simon, it doesn't seem to me that they would really have room for Ford. Most kids don't want to be in a running back class that includes two guys rated above him, either.

Well, first of all, it's a ways to go for 2025.

Second, LB Amos hurts in that he's a top 10 in the state and 4*.

Third, RB Ford is at a position of less need and is top 15 in LA and a 3*.

Just saying.

Yea I guess it just depends what ranking you look at. The staff is pursuing Ford from what I’ve read. They also like Jasper as well from
Shaw

Long way to go and LSU has pushed for neither. Amos hasn't been offered and Ford likely couldn't commit today(as a RB) so his means squat. Simon is RB 2 in the class and much more versatile. Kid could legit play wr if he focused on it. I am a fan of Ford but I don't make the decisions and years with multiple options happen. Just so happens the other 2 options fit what we want more(help in the passing game). Amos will have opportunities to show us what he's got if he chooses.

I agree BF, but let’s nip this sht in the bud right now:
Nabers- not neighbors, Nabors or Naybers
So since he is coming to LSU it is:
BERRY- not Barry, Berrie, or Beary it’s
B E R R Y!!!!

Yeah, we don't really have a need for 3 RB's in the '25 class. We'll have Jackson, Holly and Durham plus Berry & Simon by the time they set foot on campus. I don't think 6 elite backs will stick.
