Bogalousa was not included because Amite requested an emergency appeal to be reinstated into the playoffs. Time was a factor. Amite was given a hearing with the facts that were known and could be proven at the time. Both schools are required to now go through a full sportsmanship hearing. So we still do not know the final outcome for Bogalousa or Amite. That was not the purpose of Wednesday's hearing before the Executive Committee.

The players that were on the field did not leave the bench. But some were fighting which would results in ejections and suspensions as well.

Sims was at workouts yesterday at OPHS. Saw him with my own two eyes. Move on folks.

Well, it's this simple. La Tech had been penciled into the Indy Bowl for weeks now and you heard nothing from them about not wanting to go. As soon as ULM is invited, they are suddenly too good to go to that bowl. Call it like it is. They don't want to play ULM for whatever reason. ULM people know. They have been dealing with Tech for years. Tech people know. They would never admit they don't want to play ULM. But it doesn't matter. Move on. I'm sure the dogs will love traveling to whereever. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

The rule is who has traveled most. If both are equal, then the higher seed gets the home game. Has nothing to do with just the previous week, but all rounds.

You are right about the Tech situation. She has made countless statements and shots at President Reneau about how he messed her over. I really hope LSU could convince her to come, but I really see her using LSU at this point to get more $$ in Waco given the fact the talent that she has returning and her daughter.

Although, LSU's women's team will be a good team next year I think. Guess we will see. The Louisville coach would be a great hire though.

Hopefully this won't drag on too long. And for those of you who say "who cares?", honestly it is LSU. I want us to win at marbles if we are playing it. Hopefully everyone wants all of our programs to be successful.

that Les has just not come out and simply said that "I am staying. Period." If AD is issuing a statement, then Les has to know that it is being discussed within the Athletic Department? This seems to say a great deal.

All the debate over travel would be helped.
