Getting ready for the Haul to Shreveport to see our UHS cubs and I can't figure out why Evangel is traveling to Carver this week when both had a home game last week and Evangel is the higher seed. If we can find a way to get by Calvary, looks like we heading back to Shreveport 2 weeks in a row. Does anybody know the specifics of this rule? Some say you can't play 3 home games in a row, but Curtis is.

so the rule is not just from the week before but how many home games you have had total?

Whoever played the last road game, if equal higher seed is home.

The rule is who has traveled most. If both are equal, then the higher seed gets the home game. Has nothing to do with just the previous week, but all rounds.

Not at all. If everything is equal, higher seed is at home. If one team hasn't traveled and the other has, the team that traveled is at home regardless of when they traveled. Also say one traveled in week 1 and one in week. 2, then its just higher seed that gets to be at home. For example, West Monroe will have to travel next week no matter what because both Barbe and Parkway have traveled.

correct. it has changed.. from the old way.

I think even if it was done the old way - Uhigh might be on the road in semis..

IF ECA goes down there expecting a cake walk.... carver is capable of scoring an awful lot of points in a hurry...and are playing pretty dog gone confident right now.

and I am not crazy about the change.....

ask J.T. if his butt is still sore from one of the longest trips in the state from NOLA to the artists formerly known as Springhill

Cavalry tanking their late season game against Mansfield is looking better and better. Avoid Curtis, host us, then at worst, travel across town If they win this week. Last year we were #6 and got to travel up there, this year, play a tougher schedule, get the #3 seed, and get the exact same fate. What good does it do to get the higher seed? I assume this is all about revenue sharing?
