They can't keep up with the financial burden of NIL because they have to share with Auburn. Same thing with OM(State) and Tenner(Vandy). The Fla and Texas schools have enough population/NIL donors to support the major schools with no problem. UGA has no real threat in Tech. Bama needs this College Sports bill to pass. The best two things that can happen that will hurt them is this bill does not pass and the playoffs expand to 24 teams.

Every conference voted on the same rules as the SEC did, the same week the 2022 players got the TRO against the NCAA.
The other conferences would've don the same thing that the SEC did to LSU.
If Penn State went after Harris and Wright, do you think the Big 10 would've sat back and not tried to enforce the rules and authority that the conference just voted on?

Every freshman Saban signed at Bama won a national championship when he was coaching, never went longer than three years without one until after 2020. Now, their only one since 2018 was the Covid year 2020 when a lot players sat out. They aren’t even talked about much as championship contenders anymore. The decline is real.
