With no dna evidence I think there is a greater possibility that charges will be dropped.

The DA is a political figure and BR is a LSU town. He would love to defer to the grand jury. This is a no win situation for Hillar either he is looked on as being soft on crime or he is looked on as being a hard a@@ going after a LSU QB.
Hilar is a big LSU fan and in another life he would have been JJ's attorney.

What would happen if charges where dropped or reduced for Jefferson?
Would Miles allow JJ back on the team?
What would that do for team chemistry?
If Lee had a bad game would Miles put JJ in?
Would JJ's attorney sue LSU to make him the starting QB? :violin:
