Question about my alarm system

The picture below is what the panel reads. It says trouble, but ready at the same time. It will arm and work, but trouble light stays on. Because trouble light is on, it will start chiming every couple hours and you have to go reset it to shut it up for a couple more hours. Its annoying as hell. I'm like phoebe on Friends with the chiming fire alarm, but I cant fugure out how to unplug this thing.
What do I do about this? Would like to shut it off tonight if I can.
I know - U gon get robbed, etc

Call customer support.
Mine went into a trouble alarm and annoying chime when the backup battery died. Kept cycling the system too.
Could try unplugging that battery if it's 3+ years old. It won't damage system to be unplugged, just won't work if lose power.

google the model number and check the manual. Probably a low battery on a sensor or a rapist is in your house.

You have a trouble in your system. Meaning it will still set and monitor but one of your devices are not working properly.
Does it give you any sort of location of the fault? Like zone one, batt, or AC
You will continue to get the trouble chirp every 90 min if you don't correct the trouble or put some ear plugs and duct tape over the speaker

98% of all "trouble" lights come on for this reason. Fact.

Customer support. Mine does that every once in a Blue moon. But when I call them they usually get it straight right away. Most of the time it's the battery. But you say yours chimes every couple hours, mines chimes about every 90 seconds, but usually the battery

Press *2 and see what number comes up.

Put the keypad back. Press *2. A small number will appear at the top of your screen. Tell me what number shows up and I will tell you your issue.....

I was referring to the main backup battery. It's usually located in the main control box. However, as previously mentioned, mine also chirped about every 90 seconds.

The battery is in the main box with the alarm board usually it's in the pantry or a closet

Man the LAST thing I'd post on here is a pic of my alarm system.

You battery is In the box, not behind the key pad. Check a closet where the brains are.

Do you have wireless components? If so, if the panel displays "7" after you enter the *2, one of the witless component batteries is low. If it displays "1" the system rechargeable battery pack needs to he replaced. It's inside the control panel, not the keypad.

There are 8 different kinds of trouble and some sub level troubles...not just low battery. The number that appears when you press star 2 will indicate the exact trouble condition.
