The wife and I are headed to Cabo today for the week. We are staying at an all inclusive, but I want to venture out a day or two to Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.

Can anyone recommend any restaurants/watering holes in the towns and any activities in or near either town that is worth doing while we are there?

Thanks!

We spent a fair amount of time in Cabo every year, in fact, we are here at this very moment.

What types of food do you guys like and are you staying in Cabo or San Jose?

There are endless activities to do, what types of things do you guys must enjoy?

Half way between the two. Grand Velas.

We like anything, generally. I would like to try some authentic Baja Mexican cuisine if it can be had.

Boat ride to the arches, snorkeling, history tour, etc. I heard that there is a winery in San Jose, so maybe that.

Edith’s is touristy but surprisingly delicious.

For a boat ride to the arches, have breakfast at the office and order their pancakes or waffles, both are incredible. They have their own glass, bottom water taxi that you can take to the arch for $10 total, just let your waiter know, and he will call the boat over with his walkie-talkie. Simply show your receipt to the boat captain and off you go.

You can go and come right back or you can spend a few hours at lovers beach…and walk over to divorce Beach.

They have vendors over there selling beach, umbrellas by the hour how long with snacks and drinks.

Cash is king. Be sure to bring that with you.

This is the fifth recommendation. We are going there tomorrow or the next day. Thank you for the heads up on the boat and beach. We are going to do that.

Definitely go to Flora Farms. It was the best meal we had in Cabo by far. Its a about 10-15 min from San Jose Del Cabo.

We did. It was excellent.

We also hit up San Jose for the Thursday Art Walk. It was great. We had a quick taco snack at La Lupita. The best tacos I’ve ever eaten.

Manta, inside the Cape. Best meal I have had in Cabo and the views of the arch at sunset are great. Your wife will reward you!

Second this one. It's an Enrique Olvera restaurant. One of his other places, Pujol in Mexico City, is consistently rated one of the top 10 restaurants in the world.
