Gillsburg, MS. 48 degrees with a 5-10 mph east wind. Hang on in one of my favorite early season sets. Mathews Lift X 29.5” with the Rage Tyrants. Good luck.

Deer/pig hunt

49F, clear skies with 5 mph NE winds
Mission xbow, 20” bolt with 100 gr slick trick
Ducked off the plot into the few hardwoods we have left. In a camp stand that’s big enough to party in. I’d like to see a deer at least.

Phase 4
51 degrees light ENE wind. Thermals coming more out of the north.
Same as rattle. Need a fawnless doe or decent buck. Made another sit late yesterday afternoon and saw a young buck. Pushed a deer getting down. In a different area this morning but much activity last night.

35 Whelen on a highline.
50ish degrees and calm
Buck hunt only today. Had a couple 10 points and several good 8 points on camera here, but not for a week or so now.
We’ll see if any of them show up today.

Got in stand late at 630
Shot a hog at 645
It was so dark in blind I just shot like it was a recurve. Definitely hit it.
Just had a big solo boar come in but it spooked before I could get a shot. Friggin pigs I swear.

Just had the perfect doe cruise through within 25yds. Never gave me a shot. Bummer.

Just had 7 come in. The 2 mature does knew something was up and checked up and stayed in cover
