An absolute joke. No Matthieu? No Brockers? No Mingo? No Eric Reid? No Brad Wing? Who made this list? Probably the worst All-American list I've ever seen!
Miles owes us an explanation because tickets ain't free, merch ain't free, and parking ain't even free anymore. We're paying that fat salary he's getting - so YES, he does owe us an explanation when he stabs a fifth year senior in the back and defies logic by not pulling a BAD quarterback out of the game when he's got a perfectly good one standing there. Hells yes, the man owes the world and explanation.

Watching the OSU & OU game I was reminded that Les and Stoops are equally hard-headed and arrogant. OU's starter was playing the worst game of his life and killing the team, but, Stoops WOULD NOT put in the backup kid. With two minutes left, when all was lost, he put in the backup QB and the kid did a rollout to the right and took it thirty yards ON HIS FIRST PLAY for OU's only touchdown of the game. I firmly believe if Stoops would've swapped QB's at the half, they could have won that game.

If Miles plays JJ against Alabama and ignores Lee again, there's NO way we're going to end up with another glass football. :spank:

A lot of Les Kool-Aid drinkers here. The bottom line is simple. Recruiting is here and now. If you had four or five star talent, would you want to come to LSU given what Les has done since he's been here?

The future is dark as long as Les is at the helm, sorry if that offends. :geauxtigers:
I like this one.

I think the name would be "Clockers" or "Les's Mess."

I think he would opt to serve very bland, very boring food.

The service? All the food would be overcooked or undercooked because all the timers in the kitchen are confusing. And, it would all be served to you thirty seconds after you left the restaurant in frustration.

Who would run the kitchen/front? Les would, but he'd blame somebody else for screwing it up.

Would anyone leave satisfied? Is ANYONE satisfied with Les?

Definitely a one star place, but free "Capital One Bowl Champs" hats for the kids on Thursdays! :moon:
Wow!!!! Just when you think somebody can't get not no stupider, along somes sumthin' like this - dang.

If Les does this, it only underscores how clueless the man is. I pray this is idle speculation. :geauxtigers:

And why shouldn't a player be allowed to comment or question his coach? If the press asks them questions or asks for a comment, are they supposed to lie? :geauxtigers:

I'm late to the dance as well, obviously, but I find it very telling where he says, "That's not what Coach Crowton wanted to call." Hmmm... :banghead:
If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck... what's the big deal? This is a national story, why is this surprising? :banghead:

Arkansas - 24
LSU - 17

Sorry... :spank:
Yup, gotta' agree, Arizona 2005 - I remember that one well! Steltz was awesome. :geauxtigers:

MUCH better than the concept computer generated pics we saw a couple of weeks ago - I can totally live with these and they look pretty good. I think the helmet looks especially good. Wouldn't want this as a permanent uniform, but it's fine for the Arky game.

I really like the truck Mike's posing with - where can I get one of those? Now that's a MAN'S truck! :geauxtigers:
RobbBobb, you're beating a dead horse and fighting an impossible losing battle - give it up. The hat WAS signaling to spike the ball. He WAS totally confused, HE DID ask the cop after the game was over if he had any time outs left. Accept it, Les blew this big time. Time to move on. :spank:
The guy's just doing his job, unlike the fellow with the white hat. :violin:
WBRZ GOT IT RIGHT! Les IS signaling to down the ball and he's mouthing "CLOCK IT" running down the sidelines. Watch it from the other angle CBS has and you can see Jefferson looking at him as he's running down to the line. Then Les says, "I don't know who told him to clock the ball."

Sorry, that's bullsh#t Les! :geauxtigers:
You dream! They're walking into a washing machine that's stuck on the spin cycle. Arkansas wins by more than 10 - sorry. :violin:

Great post! I don't think any of us are down on the players themselves. Yes, there were some dropped balls, but that's football - it happens, nobody's upset about that.

I think we can support the troops, as it were, without agreeing with the way they're being handled. That's why we're so frustrated. These are great kids and they are not being given the direction they deserve. These guys have the talent to take on anyone in the country and we realize it - they have nothing to be ashamed of.

What we have here is kinda like a hunter who's got the best rifle in the woods, and he's making an arse of himself because he mounted the scope backwards. :usa: :geauxtigers:

re: 1 second. How would you win?

Posted by Nachtjager on 11/23/09 at 10:38 am to
Easy, we thought of this right after the game. Think back a couple of years. Tell the players, if we make this play, somebody go down hurt on the field and stay down. It stops the clock and gives you plenty of time to get the field goal team on the turf.

The guys did this a couple of times in 2007, primarily to buy time for equipment failures - broken chinstraps and such.

I like the Purdue clip tho - very impressive. :geauxtigers:
I'm inclined to agree with some others. Les has always been mediocre and in the past, the team found ways to win in spite of the coaching, not because of the coaching. He's always been in over his head. If there's a way, I'd cut him loose after this season and do my utmost to hire somebody with imagination and discipline. Look at what Cinnicinnati's done with little guys - can we get that guy? :spank:
I concur with the previous post, this is a terrible insult to Dale Brown!

Great photos, thanks for posting! I like the Ole Miss cheerleader making the weird face and the pic with #18 with a handful of Ole Miss jersey - ooops!

Dreadful game, but great pics!
Perhaps he said this just to prove his eyesight is okay? Otherwise, I don't see much point in stating the obvious.
