After he totally collapses and has 2 or 3 six loss seasons or worse. There is nothing special about being able to discern the obvious AND it doesn't take an ounce of balls to make that call.

The real trick is spotting the obvious BEFORE the collapse and having the balls to make the decision. As the UF boss said; if you know you're going to have to do something tomorrow, you might as well do it today.

Look in the mirror, you are a Rantard, plain and simple. You put the tard in Rantard. Are we anywhere near that point?

When you take into consideration the hefty buyout, it's really not that simple....

With such weak reading skills, you really should be careful about calling others tards. Look in your own mirror and make an attempt at comprehending my post.

Oh, I get it your dumbass post. You can read the future. You think it will send coaches here in droves when we fire a coach 2 years removed from the NC, and the same year when he was one game away from a top 10 finish. You're a typical Rantard who has no idea how things really work.

You go 9-4 sans your top 3 RB's two years after winning a national title, and you fire the head coach? It's not a simple situation. As stated above, what top tier head coach would want to get a job where he will be fired at the whim of a rantard?

This "You think it will send coaches here in droves when we fire a coach 2 years removed from the NC" is the most asinine argument EVER. Let's turn this argument around.

Why would we think a coach may want to come to work for an Administration that is too blind to see the obvious and too weak to make the tough decisions? Why, the same reason coaches would want to come here if Miles were fired this year...great facilities, much better than average athletes, a great recruiting base and, oh yeah I almost forgot the most important thing, "MONEY".

The main question at this point (and I know nothings going to be done with Miles this year so there is no need to comment on this issue) should not be "can we get a coach to come here when we fire a coach 2 years removed from a National Championship", but rather, how long will it take the next coach to rebuild what one sees on the field being totally dismantled?

which is exactly the process that gave us the Archer to Dinardo years. The playing of football politics was a game that nearly killed any interest in LSU football.

coaches want to believe that the administration will stay behind them through a rough period, and that emotion of the fans won't play a part in getting them canned. If they think the fanbase and supporters have unrealistic expectations, they'll tend to avoid the situation. This is why bama had a long period of 5th choice coaches.

this team as a ton of young talent, and a ton more coming in. Dismantled is not the right way to describe it, at this point.
