That's exactly how i felt about that movie. It had so much potential, and while it turned out to be a good movie - it coulda been a really great one.
I hope we haven't witnessed the death of original cinema...

Mine is definitely Seinfeld - no questions asked. To me, there is no other show that even comes close to matching the greatness of that show.

Titanic was a historical epic and with groundbreaking technology and a great leading couple. Good Will Hunting, while good - was definitely not Oscar worthy

Avatar will not reach Gone with the Wind and Star Wars' domestic haul.

It's the international market that matters. I agree with your statement though about domestic gross, however when GWTW and SW were in theaters, there were not nearly the amount of movies in theatres to choose from nor the variety of entertainment options for people to choose from. Pirating wasn't a huge market yet and people weren't watching these films online illegally. Just consider that when you make those claims that GWTW and Star Wars made sooo much money. They are a product of the times, much like Avatar.

January release = probable flop.

Children of Men came out in January and it is widely considered one of the best films of the decade.
Sam Jackson + The Rock + Will Ferrell = Box Office Gold.

then how come only 5 films in movie history have made over $1 Billion?
The Hornets aren't making the playoffs. No Byron - not a chance.

You are absolutely crazy.
This is incredible.

I for one never thought this would. I mean it's a good movie, but $1 Billion in this amount of time...wow. Maybe $2 billion isn't so far fetched for this film.
The Dark Knight not getting a Best Picture nod and win.
I would see this in a heartbeat.
And

THE LITTLE TOASTER IS CLASSIC AWESOME.

That Kellen Lutz kid from Twilight wouldn't be bad.

Lutz wouldn't be a bad choice.

What do y'all think about Shia LaBeuf for CA?
