It's an owl. Had one regular at my camp. He would plissé 5-10 a week at the base of a big oak tree in the front yard. Cool to see hip scoop them up along the bank. ...

Talapia....pond too small for Talapia as a baitfish. They are more invasive than crappie. Red shad is the best forage for a pond that size. ...

Went to Red State screening and Kevin Smith Q and A. Movie was awesome! Nothing like he has ever done but still oddly enough a Kevin Smith movie. Q and A was unbeleavable... Kevin, Steven Root, and Malissa Leo talked for about 2 hours after. ...

Don't know about deer but Duck seasons and zones are determined by fed gov. Adjusted every 10 years. State makes several proposals and fed selects the one they want. This year was the end of current cycle and things will change next year. ...
