It probably shows that his school didnt have a big lifting program...and like all kids...it is all about the bench..so that is what he worked the most on.
For the guy who said u cant bump up squat 100 pounds in a few months..u can if no one has really taught u squats....or the way to get stronger with them

Unless it has changed..it has to do with some jackass rule by the NCAA that has to be the number of Saturdays during a certain period. It only appeared after the 12 game schedule became a reality. At first, they were going to say you could only have 12 games on the certain years. Schools then said..ahh.noooo..this is good money. So on those screwed up years, rather than drop back to an 11 game schedule, they give up a bye weekend.

Guy has a lot of upside. Coached for multiple NFL teams...did a descent amount of work in college before jumping. Was looked at for a couple of HC jobs in the pro's.
Saban recruiting him to the Dolphins over Miles bringing him to LSU. I see this as a huge plus when the Gump coaches try to recruit a kid and tell him that LSU doesn't have a DC that can get him to the next level. Gives some explanation to why Willis reupped with Auburn.
Also, this guy is going to want to be a HC...may think NFL is not going to happen, so college pays good, hence, EO comes as DL and is DC in waiting.

The way Miles has his assistants set up....it would be hard to have a QB coach.
9 Total Assistants allowed
Offense
OC
Line Coach
TE Coach
WR Coach
RB Coach
If you added a QB coach, that would put 6 on offensive side of ball.
DC
DL Coach
LB Coach
DB Coach
That is 10...still have not covered ST Coach
