Miles always recruits very well, i remember his first 2 classes we closed out with highly touted prospects some of which were a nice surprise indeed.

last year seems like we lost out at the last minute for some stud recruits. which got me wondering who is the best closer? I don't know if what i here is true, but it seems like he gets complacent with recruits once they commit. I would still bet he is one of the best closers in the biz but you would have bet that saban might be the best. saban, meyer, carrol, miles, stoops, brown, tressel

yeah those are in order.

In his day, Bobby Bowden was incredible.

And going back further, Paul Bryant was pretty damn good.

I hope so,,

We need to close strong

Being #1 right now is nice an all, but until signing day happens, it's very much in the air, it's a great class as it stands right now for sure, but I want to finish #1...just because, you know what I mean?

But all the big boy programs are coming on strong. for the big fish remaining

I hope we can hold on to Jackson, that SPF news is troubling.. We are bound to lose one or two, we shall see

We lost Wooten, but he was UGA from the start.

I really really want Debose, he will offset any bad news that may happen, he is a game changer IMO. We need the big home run Percy Harvin type of player...a guy that all teams must know where he is at all times. And a kid with swagger, and confidence, or cockiness, the team needs that energy.. (instead we are worried about cover on an INT!) Next year will be much different!

As much as I love recruiting, it's beginning to get nail biting time..all the rumors, ect, I just want get the home grown talent, and debose..and of course Loston

The AA games will be so much fun and filled with anticipation....but could be also tremendous disappointment as well...

I hope Shep is working hard on these last few recruits

Definitely Bobby Bowden has been the best NSD closer, hands down.

Meyer is quickly becoming one of if not the best closer out there. His classes always seem to be questionable come Jan 1, and then turns it into high gear and gets almost everyone they want.

Have to agree, as much as I hate him & the way he recruits, (remember the LSU is a racist school thing he started) but in his day, Bobby Bowden was pulling in All-Star teams on National Signing Day. Time has finally caught up with the old bastard, although he won't throw in the towel.

Whoa, I haven't heard that

Wooten was a huge suprise, he was UGA favorite from the beginning

I have heard about Debose might be a silent commit, but I want to see the LSU hat and smile for camera before I believe it

that is just conjecture going around. But it makes sense looking at everything as a whole.

I myself believe he is one. And i don't need someone else to tell me that givin the info that is out there.

Most people do believe wooten and ferrel were pushed out to make room. Kind of sucks cause wooten will be a great one. But i would rather debose.

oh yeah, the Ferrel thing, was push out because the kid was out of shape, not doing the things the coaches were expecting from a recruit

The wooten thing, I thought he just got the love he wanted from UGA and changed his mind.

i hope Debose is on board, UF thinks they have a great shot

agreed he is a very good closer. if i remember correctly USC was leading far into the process for both Chad Jones and Keiland Williams. He also stole Perrilloux from Texas too

Wish he wouldn't have made the deal on that one though. LSU would have had Colt McCoy instead.
