Every time a coffin covered in an American Flag, arrives at Dover A B make every professional athlete watch.

Talk to those of us who have watched friends leave in a Flag draped coffin

We fought for the right of free speech, but some things are sacred

You want to protest?? Call your local, state and national representatives.

Nah......they probably do not vote nor know who they are

Really simple to send the teams back to the locker room while the anthem is played.

It's America. They have the right to do what they like.

That’s the way it was before the government started paying the NFL for these staged showings of patriotism as a way of recruiting.

ETA: wrong board. Poli?? board material.

You've had more down votes than upvotes, shows what kind of fans we have on the rant.

Some things are sacred

They all should visit Arlington, Normandy, Belgium, Chattanooga or any National Cemetery

My questions is what is the reason???? :

But we don't have the right to disagree anymore, that's the problem.

How about the solution being you try to understand why some people feel unsafe and disrespected. Otherwise, STFU about the players.

You're doing it right now. This doesn't make any sense.
Go find your safe space, coward.

They are not free of consequences for said actions. Unless someone stands for something else and that freedom of expression is not tolerated. The irony

Ask everyone to please stand, sit or kneel for the National Anthem. Problem solved

Disrespected? Really? I don't think anyone who supports the kneelers or kneels themselves should whine about how they're disrespected!

I see the Anthem and Flag as transcendent.

They're symbolic of the right we have to change things we don't like. So when (by kneeling, etc during the National Anthem), in my view, it's tearing down the very thing needed to peacefully change what one doesn't like.

America is the greatest nation on the planet. For my part, I no longer watch NFL so I wouldn't even know whose kneeling or not unless it was posted here/elsewhere.
