Liberals have been wanting football to fall for almost a decade.

They've promoted head injuries to change the level of aggressiveness in the game, gain sympathy with sob stories about those who had concussions, and prevent younger kids from playing.
As usual this isn't because of safety concerns for people, but controlling the narritive and molding youth to be less masculine and extreme.
Who would have thought that a half white male banging a Muslim would have sped up the process faster than anyone could imagine?
But that's the way liberals usually work. The change they fight for is like a damn failing. Drip, drip, drip then bang.

You're correct. But you left out the psychological impact on viewers. Liberals claimed that football causes men to beat up women. The study was finally debunked based on false ER admission records going up on game day.
The female sports writers want it banned simply because women don't play it. They want people to fill the stadiums watching women's soccer and golf.
