No idea, but never thought he’d destroy it this fast.

Folks felt good about Aranda and Canada, thinking they'd "carry" O.

I figured he'd be an 8-10 win a year guy. Beat all the bad teams but lose to all the good teams he played like he did last year. Never thought he'd ever be this bad

I don't even know what the hell to say to the people who still think he's going to succeed.

Fine, but its imperative he and his staff "DRASTICALLY" improve. He cannot have a losing season.

It appeared last season, that O had the players attention and the team was playing out of their minds. Obviously, losing to Bama was expected and losing Florida was a bad look.

I bought the energy and passion. Looks like I was a misinformed fool for believing my eyes.

If O loses recruits, then LSU will plummet like Enron. Hopefully, Alleva will be fired and we can find a way to rebuild the brand of LSU Football. I am afraid this downturn will be at least a three to four year rebuild if O is fired after the season. I don't see that happening so it might be until 2021 until LSU Football is in contention again. Maybe Saban will be retired by 2021 ?

A lot and I mean a lot thought he would win because he's Cajun. I heard that repeated with my own ears many times on WWL. How stupid is that?

I'd like to say our fans get what they deserve, but I'm also a fan. I don't deserve this.

If/when we get our stuff pushed in by Florida and Auburn, things will get interesting. I hope the first thing to happen is Alleva on the unemployment line.

Why did anyone ever think O was going to succeed?

I don't love Herman, so once Fisher was out, I was fine giving O a shot to see if he could hire a great offensive coordinator and keep the momentum that I thought he had built as interim coach rolling.

So, in my mind, I was ok giving him a year or two to get us back where we thought we should be. I thought if he failed we would know pretty quickly and could just move on. But that we wouldn't really be any worse off and there might be a more attractive group of candidates available.

Also, I thought he would be able to keep the 2017 recruiting class together.

Then...March came...and I saw the buyout. I died a little that day, but I didn't want to admit it. It's such an absurd contract and left me totally speechless. Never in my wildest imagination did I ever expect Ed Orgeron would be able to negotiate THAT contract.
