Joining us today at 1pm will be Jeff the Ref who hosts a sports show on the official App St flagship station.

He seems like a fire-cracker.
Feel free to call in and give him a little hell.

Talking points for the first hour show.

- The difference between 2004 and 2008 as defending champs
- Would Armanti Edwards start for any SEC teams?

To listen online, click here.

The call-in numbers are 225-499-1300 or toll-free 800-219-5656.

Are you just saying this to say it? Have you seen him play?

Why wouldnt a winning team in the SEC that wants to use that type of offense want him (besides maybe Florida). You think Hatch/Lee are better than AE?

That has nothing to do with what I am saying. Look at the teams you have now. An argument could be made for him to start at all of the SEC teams, excluding Georgia and Florida. Although you could use him at Florida in a double QB situation. Your comment is just ridiculous.

Vanderbilt just wants to get to a bowl game and not finish last in their division.

Thank you.

I bet that Michigan would LOVE to have Armanti Edwards under center this year.

We arent talking which conference or division is better. This is a position argument. Have you watched him play? He has led his team to two championships. You can say its against lesser competition, but face it, playoffs are a tough system to win in, no matter what level you are on. All it takes is one bad game to screw up, and he hasn't had that bad game in two years of competitive playoffs.

Look at the starting QBs in the League (many of whom have less experience than AE):

Alabama - Sarah Jessica Parker Wilson
Arkansas - Casey Dick
Auburn - Kodi Burns
SC - Chris Smelley???
Tennessee - Crompton?
Kentucky - ?
Miss State - ?
Ole Miss - ?
Vandy - ?
LSU - Hatch/Lee

Come on DollaChoppa, you obviously are wrong here. To answer your question Big John, maybe not every SEC team, but many.

True, I know your comment was that no one who wants to win their division would start him. But my comment is in reference to the original question, which was could there be an SEC team who would start him.

why are you calling my opinion wrong?
