They're comin to rock you like a hurricane...

That would be a shitty drive back...get your team rolled and have to drive through the fringe of a hurricane haha.

A hurricane in the Outer Banks is nothing compared to a hurricane in the gulf.

Hurricane approaching should make many ASU fans stay home. Hopefully they send down their tickets for the game with the one or two that make down here.

Actually, I have been through one in the gulf and one in the outer banks, and one in Charleston. Yea, it gets rough but not nearly as compared to the ones in the gulf. There is a lot more wind for the ones in the gulf. I was there for Andrew, left the Outer Banks just befor Isabel, and was in Charleston when Charley hit. Isabel was brutal but not as bad as something in the gulf. Charley felt like a breeze compared to Andrew. The gulf gets slammed much harder than the east coast.

I'm definitely coming down. It's getting back that I'm worried about.

I think that is what most of us are thinking. Get out of there early Sunday so hopefully we miss it.

So, 100 mph winds in the gulf is worse than 100 mph winds on the east coast?

Must be since Andrew was much worse than Isabel and Charley. What I was getting at was that the flooding and damage from the wind was worse for Andrew than what I saw in Isabel and Charley.

If you left before Isabel, how do you know what is was like?
