re: Software Stocks Plunge

What do you think about the cyber security stocks? Down big for same theory, but I'm not so sure. Started a position in PANW yesterday as it's growth and valuation getting very attractive.

Went to the beach volleyball games 6 or so weeks ago. Had a food truck there with excellent cuban sandwiches
re: XRP?

It has no value. Best I can tell it's a souped up western union. Going to zero, but who knows when as plenty of folks like to speculate. There's a literal army of youtubers that say it'll go to the moon...or the whales are doing this or that. Pretty entertaining actually.
re: What do you guys think about KBR and FLR?
Posted by sheepshead on 3/31/26 at 10:20 pm to SmackoverHawg
I went in FLR for same reasons you mentioned and the short term drop. Have some 1st hand experience with them a few years back and they do good work. Will keep buying in the 40s.
Also have good size position in TPC for infrastructure themes, but it's been good last year or two. Don't think would add to right now.
A big driver a few years back in these infrastructure stocks was labor inflation moving faster than their fixed price contracts. They're mostly on the other side of that hangover though.

I believe this solves a problem and is a very promising technology. Planning to invest a small sum here, and appreciate the OP for sharing this on TD.
The one thing I'm getting caught up in is that the socom contract will cover only socom 130js. Thats less than 90 aircraft. Not the 400 or 800 being mentioned. The 135s is another contract (which has alot of value), but the 130j numbers in the original analysis are overstated.
While the technology is very promising and could reach to other airframes (and more 130js), the basecase being discussed is overstated. All that said, the addressable market is big long term so I'm in.

Later in May or early June...
Think they do relocation requests 1st and that happens early May

re: The XRP Hype
Posted by sheepshead on 1/8/26 at 8:43 pm to TDFreak
Exactly, a bunch of retarded hype. Only reason xrp went up at new year is because all the idiots that used their xrp losses over the past 6 months for tax loss harvesting kept on idioting...by buying back in. It may go up again, but I predict long term will go to zero.
