This has nothing to do with it being an old plane - it got rammed by another plane.
I flew on a B-17 in 2018 and it was one of the highlights of my life. My grandad was a pilot in WW2 and getting to ride in one was an once in a lifetime experience.
The conversation needs to be how do we make sure air shows properly deconflict airspace so this never happens again not should we be flying them.

Nothing wrong with buying a new car if it's what you want. The issue is when people don't keep whatever they buy for a long time. I bought my truck new in 2014 still have it and zero plans of trading it in. It was exactly what I wanted. Paid the bare minimum payments on it for five years because they gave me 1% loan.

I saw where a LTC posted about how Pfizer is walking back the vaccine info and some CPT went off on her. This shite is wild, glad I hung it up a few years ago.
