Look up this guy's background - incredibly impressive. Hired by McKinsey directly out of LSU undergrad (<3 people in the history of LSU have done this) before going to HBS. He's as well-qualified as anyone.

Replays in Tiger Stadium

Posted by DrCarlWeiss on 10/13/24 at 9:55 am
Makes no sense to me why they are so hesitant to show replays on the stadium big screen. So many big / consequential plays that were being reviewed, and we were never shown the replay. What’s the reasoning behind this?

Was Jontre better than Nuss?

Posted by DrCarlWeiss on 10/5/22 at 10:55 pm
A lot of people have been talking about the fact that Nuss sat out of the bowl game and missed the opportunity to get valuable first team reps. Based on Nuss’ performance so far this year, is there a possibility that Jontre was actually a better QB than Nuss? Nuss mentioned how bad he wanted to play and that there were “other factors at play” that influenced his availability- I’m starting to think that Jontre actually performed better and the coaches felt more confident in his ability to get us the win.

JD Downfield passing

It's clear that we will have to stretch the field to beat Tenn. JD has struggled when dropping back in the pocket and analyzing the defense with slow-developing route concepts. Hope Denbrock/Kelly can call a few easy PA deep pass routes to Boutte & Co to keep the defense honest. Hell even a few straight go routes against single coverage early could go a long way in opening up the run game and keeping them honest for quick slant/screen plays later in the game
