I really hope we keep Mickey Joseph/Corey Raymond. One of the best; if not THE BEST WR/DB coach combos in the country. They turn out pros. Looking at how Jefferson and Chase are performing the NFL; with the intricate change in speed when running routes to create separation; a lot of that was taught by Joseph.

Ole Miss can never be a consistent power program in the world of NIL. They are a smaller school with a smaller alumni base in a state with less money and more competition. They are behind in terms of stadium size, facilities, you name it, and there is no way for them to ever catch up. They are what they are, just like State. I get all that, but it does come down to money. After all the back and forth in negotiations, Kiffin would probably end up a 6-7mil HC if he did come to LSU, on par with Fisher/Smart. I don't think he is a 6-7 mil HC right now, and I don't think Woodward would pay him that. He still needs time to prove himself, so he will be at Ole Miss for a couple of years.

Original: He is not pulling another Tennessee; especially after "Manning Day", aka "Arch Manning Recruiting Day". If he gets to the New Year's Six, ... then lands Arch Manning for 4 years; he is staying put for the rest of his contract. He is setting himself up to get paid. I don't think Woodward would/should pay him now.

-Saban: Won 6 national championships at Alabama. He has made more money than he would even need. They built a friggin statue of his arse. Woodward could offer him 20 mil and he wouldn't leave. Some Bama inbred would start poisoning people if he did. He is retiring at Alabama.

He shouldn't get the start this season, but he should get more reps. He needs more reps so he can be assessed under the same pressure Max has been under all season. Watching what a QB does under pressure is what separates a decent QB vs a playmaker. Next season he can duke it out with Max for starter.

I like him. He'd be great for the program. I hope he gets an offer. I worry though about how he will be treated by the racist couyons that inhabit the LSU fan base. Just read some of these replies...
