He's out of coaching presently. I have no idea why he resigned at Washington, but he did well everywhere he's been.
Just throwing his name out there, he and Woodward have a past with one another...Who knows?

Good coach but no chance to come here. He'll stay on the west coast if he ever comes back. He couldn't handle the pressure at Washington what makes you think he can at SEC and LSU which puts your arse on the burner the first sign of distress?

Woody will probably make a run at him since that's his guy but he'll politely turn him down.

He's got a pretty stellar head coaching record, wouldn't mind him.

Fickell is another coach that would be a great hire that probably would tell LSU thanks but no thanks. The list for LSU coaches is probably short because there isn't many realistic options right now even if it's a premiere job. Bad time to be looking for new coach but we're bleeding out right now.

He’s said he’s not interested in returning to coaching. Retired at UW and sited the stress of coaching. People have already reported he isn’t interested in returning to coaching still in the past couple weeks.

Chris son left Washington because of family,he has a sick
child. Why do people post BS about a coach when they have
no clue what they are talking about. You say he couldn`t
handle the pressure ,he took Wash to the playoffs.

Jeff Tedford still around? I always thought he would have been a good SEC coach.

Turned Boise State into a power and brought the Washington Huskies to the CFP. He’s a great coach that has won everywhere he went. Not likely he’d come to LSU though.

He is done coaching college football, so it doesn't matter what I think.

It has been reported he has no interest to ever coach again.

When I think of Peterson, I always remember him breaking up that fight between Boise St. and Oregon in 2010. Seems like a classy guy.

Since Chris Peterson and Scott Woodward are very good friends, I'm kind of guessing that will be Woodward's top prospect.

He made a little over $4 million annually at Washington. I'm betting Woodward will try to entice him by offering him about $8 million annually.

Anyone who can recruit the quality players he did to Idaho, can recruit his arse off.

Okay then, we'll just have to stick with your favorite head coach of all time.
