Also, I wasn't a SEAL but I did not take the Anthrax vaccine and deployed multiple times without issue. So, I really don't think you have the point that you thought you had.

This is inept at its highest. Some of the stuff they are doing is intentional but things like this, things like we saw with getting out of Afghanistan reek of a lack of ability to plan and execute complex operations. This one at the border is pretty simple.

I feel so inadequate. I do not even know 300 people well enough to know if they have been vaccinated, have had Covid, or what kinds of troubles they have had if they had Covid. Depends on the locale in my opinion. Who is in charge in that locale. What the demographics of the locale are. In the rural south, I do not think you would see the order even given.
Other places, less rural, more urban, it would not surprise me for it to be worse.
