Anyone ever been and can get some legitimate insight or plan assistance is appreciated. Time of year is best?? Going for like 4 days.

Stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres and loved it. Wife and I went at the end of March/first week of April. It was a great time of year as weather was really nice, wasn't just unreasonably hot, nor was it too overly crowded as spring break had ended. Really had no complaints. Good variety of food options and we enjoyed all of it, entertainment was lots of fun and varied, staff was great.

We've stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres many times. It's one of favorite places to go when we need a break from everything. You can't really go wrong with it. We do pay extra for the Excellence club. I think it's worth it for the premium drinks and another restaurant.

I have a trip booked there at the Majestic Elegance in June. I have never been before but have went many times to the Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana. From the pictures and what I read it is set up pretty close to the same. I have really enjoyed everything about the one in Punta Cana and expect this trip to be the same.

Agreed. Gets access to multiple other bars/pools, certain menu items at some restaurants, and some reserved areas on the beaches if the resort is crowded. Plus it covers the transport to and from the hotel. As a matter of just sheer simplicity and convenience knowing everything you see is included more than makes up for it in my mind.

Don't believe you need Excellence Club for this but you do need to book directly though them.

Quite possibly, it has been a few years since I've been. When we went, it was an additional charge unless you did an Excellence club room.
