We went in Feb. of 19’ and the weather was perfect! Did the volcano tour which came with some hiking, zip lines, water slides, horseback riding, also visited some hot springs. Also did a catamaran tour from coco beach and we really enjoyed it! Overall it was a nice trip but at the same time I don’t really feel the need to go back.
I really like Kauai. Laid back, and the food is great! Lots to see and do in regards to the outdoors. I was married on Shipwrecks Beach next to the Hyatt and have been back to visit. It’s not a very “touristy” or party type of island.. after 8 pm it’s fairly dead. If they want more night life Maui might offer more.
Really enjoyed the catamaran dinner cruise and helicopter tour.
Open for the most part. Bars have been open with limited capacity and closing early in some places downtown but that will be changing soon if not already.
I’ve only stayed at the Hilton because I live within an hour of town, but it’s in a really good location.

The farmers market has some good casual eats! I like the Jamaican restaurant, but there’s also coffee, crepes, etc.

Blue Moon (would have to drive) but this is one of my favorite summer spots. It’s a floating restaurant/bar usually has live music. Food is good and you can also rent paddle boards or kayaks next door.

Florida...where to go?

looking for somewhere to go for a short 4-day vacation in March. We are typically in Kauai this time of year but our trip was canceled (they were still doing the 14 day quarantine when everything is typically booked). So looking to stay closer to home and thought about trying Florida.
Wondering if anyone had input on specific places to stay on the beach? I’m wanting to go somewhere that has plenty to see and do nearby as I am not just a sit in the beach all day person- walking distance preferably with good food!

I am also a 36 yr old mom who couldn’t disagree with you more, however I think I speak for many when I say that the biggest thing we were looking for was transparency. People can accept a loss when that’s what it really is.. has that been proven or shown to the public at all? No!
But we should believe he won bc you sent out postcards??
You can take a seat...
I don’t think so. The way I read it is that it will clearly distinguish believers from nonbelievers. If it’s taken by someone unknowingly- to me that just doesn’t match up.
