That’s not the issue. We all know Paul did a great job and won a Natty. That’d doesn’t mean it’s wrong to notice when a coach is past his prime. He was a good coach, but its still a good time for him to move one. Good for him to recognize that and make the decision now.

Of course the natty, peach bowl and many other... but a few I haven’t seen mentioned, the 2005 Georgia game, 2007 Va. Tech game, and the 2019 Vandy basketball game when Alleva had to hide in the concourse... that environment was awesome.
FWIW the BR Ruth’s Chris is independently owned and not part of the chain. It just has the name. The food is always good.

Sometimes bias and fact line up. We are biased, but still right here. It’s as good of a DC job as it gets.
Was in Tennessee with my Uncle. Not an emotional guy. Lift me in the air and screamed-“We won a national championship, national champions!!!!!” So good, tents on all the streets selling LSU gear in BR for weeks!
Fan Small Man Syndrome

We LSU fans need to cut out the small man syndrome. “He will never come here bc.....”, “Texas this, Notre Dame that”. We are a top tier team and program, regardless of the tough/bad 2020 season. We can pull top recruits and will always be able to pull top coaches. Texas can’t leave anyone alone to do a job, similar to Auburn. Notre Dame can’t get the players. Look, LSU isn’t perfect, of course-but it’s a top national program, I’d say top 5. Stop with the pre-2000 history. In the 2000s there is hardly any better. The coach we get or don’t get want be because some other school has a better opening.
Agree, this is the most quiet I can ever remember it being this time of year. There has to be a sense of urgency, which means something must be in the works or in place. Noise means panic and power plays most of the time.

GT Intercepter... took some years to save up, was so pumped.
One of my all time favorites. The guy who played Cru wrote a book about it, pretty cool.

Seems like a higher amount of tests than the past few Sundays. If so, this is even more of a move in the right direction.

I didn't know being ranked #12 at LSU was something to be excited about. Will I go in to the season excited and optimistic? Of course. But apparently a lot of people are “sleeping” on them for the Tigers to start the season outside of the top 10. Thats like a Saban bama football team being ranked #12. Call me spoiled, but I guess I just expect more respect for our boys if they are actually that good. I hope everyone is “sleeping” and they end up wrecking the league. Geaux Tigahs
