Which makes sense. They lead the SEC in both total offense and total defense. #7 nationally in total offense. #3 nationally in total defense.

Personally, I can't pick us to win on the road until we do. This team has been shockingly different on the road vs at home.

BTW, don't let anyone tell you Texas A&M is a terrible team. The model has them as the #30 rated team - they are still better than ~80% of the teams in college football. They just aren't better than 9 or 10 other SEC teams.

Seems that model had us beating Ole Piss and KY.

I will stick with my pre-season 9-3 pick.

Do you think A&M would beat Michigan St? What about Virginia?

Really don’t know that they would.

ignore this kind of stuff. Computer models, rankings, etc. don't matter at all. Far too many variables involved in each individual game.

Just watch the games, then we'll all know.

Is that the bar for not being trash? Being able to beat a 2-5 team that was trailing Toledo in the 4th quarter?

right...

Well Michigan St and Virginia are about as average as average gets this year and A&M would be favored over them by about 10 points.

Even Arkansas is above average (slightly). When yall say a team is "trash", I feel like you categorize all teams into two or three groups - 3 "elite" teams, 10 or so "good teams", the rest are "trash". Don't be this dumb. Speaking of Josh Pate (and I'm not really a big fan of his), when he uses the word "casuals", this is what he's talking about.

And which model, created by whom, is telling you this?

Depends on your definition of "trash". To me, "trash" is like the bottom 20 teams in FBS. But who knows how yall define "trash" teams. Are the bottom 80% of teams trash? Bottom 50%?

Several models.

My model has A&M #30 (10 point fav over Mich St)
SP+ has A&M #33 (11 point fav over Mich St)
FPI has A&M #20 (12 point fav over Mich St)
