I was going to ask about the water levels but looks like arczr2 confirmed my suspicion. I live in Leesville so not exactly a quick drive to check and was concerned because with the river levels it seemed to me that the would water be non-existent but wasn't for sure...

Anyone that hunts Yancy willing to help me out with a question either here or in PM?...

That's unfortunate. Looks like I'll be making the longer drive to Yancy or somewhere further north for the first split...
