India vs England rematch should be awesome. The end of the tourney is dragging and we can thank Sri Lanka for it not dragging even more.

At least theres something to play for the last 20 matches. Pakistan/Bangladesh could end up being a huge match

Im thinking that Windies game gained some cricket fans. I was thinking this past week would be a snoozer but the tourney has come to life.
The battle for seeding and trying to play your way into being at your best right at the semifinal will be interesting to watch.

The slinger Malinga powers SL past ENG. I bet SL is wishing they had those two rainouts still to play.
Edgbaston could be a tougher pitch for ENG if they draw the 2 v 3.

Wins by nzl and aus the next 30 hours will all but wrap up the qualifications.
Will be interesting to see who gets 5th and also i imagine there will be great urgency to avoid ENG. AUS and IND play games on the final day of groups and if they get the 2 or 3 they can avoid eng and also get 2 extra days of rest before the semis.

Have a day Shakib al hasan. 124 not out and 2 wickets. Bangladesh could make a run for 5th. Quick turnaround for them vs Australia

France vs USA in the quarters is the real start of this tournament.

Outside of Azam and Amir I doubt any of the Pakistani's would make the Indian side.

Looking like 12 pts will be needed to qualify. WI needed that AUS game and PAK needed the SL and AUS game.
Top 4 seeding might come down to shared pts and NRR. Im sure NZ, IND and AUS will want to avoid ENG til Lords

Woakes coming in at 3, Moeen not in the side atm, Roy and Morgan with injuries, Root taking wickets, Bairstow hasnt even kicked on yet, Hales and Denly not even on the team. Only seems to be one team with true depth.
Looking forward to Ind vs pak and then Ind vs eng in a few weeks.
Chances are better we have double digit rainouts than anywhere close to 500

I think England is the most complete. India in the next tier by themselves. Australia has looked really weak by my eye and NZ hasnt played anyone.

Still waiting for a big run scoring game, Australia should have the bowling attack to limit WI.

Outside the two Sri Lanka games this week could end up being really good. The last two games were exciting.
LMU lost to UCLA and play a winner take all tomorrow.
Fresno down @ Stanford(would play again tomorrow if result holds.
Michigan gave up the lead to the Jays in the 9th (would play again tomorrow if result holds)

Keep in mind WI has a more frontloaded schedule which is the opposite for NZL. If it comes down the those two for the last spot
South Africa goes down again. They are gonna need at least a split against WI and IND this week to stay alive.

Be interested to see how Guptill does against SL. Seems like I remember NZL doing well in England before.
