alternator/starter rebuild shop in the new orleans/baton rouge area

Alternator bit the dust on my Silverado HD diesel. I have it off. Does anyone know of a good reman/rebuild shop in the Covington area? Thanks

Probably just the brushes. Fix it yourself.

How much you plan on saving? Are they that expensive for a new one with core trade?

Checked-Not the brushes=Almost a 50% savings if you can find a quality re-builder. Must be nice not to have to worry bout these little things !!

But you also have the down time of waiting for it to be rebuilt.

There is a place in Hammond on Business 51 that does it. It's right where the road splits if coming from 55
