Agreed. Since they spread the tee times out a little more as long as you tee off before 8:30 you should be fine.

They did away with the infamous par 3. You tee off from the top of the hill now. I play at Carter regularly but occasionally we play a scramble at Oak Knoll. It is what it is…. I did play there in October and the greens were actually a good bit better. Not good, but better. They at least rolled decent. It is a shame though because if someone could put some money into it and redo the greens it would be pretty solid. The rest of the course isn’t bad. The greens are by far the worst part.
It really doesn't matter because if the windshield has no tint you can see right through. Old truck had 5% on sides and back and 50% on the windshield. Was tough backup back up at night, ESPECIALLY in the rain. New truck has a backup camera with 5% on sides and back and 35% on windshield. Much nicer. It keeps the truck much cooler IMO and I like it for security purposes. Knock on wood but I have been pulled over a few times in the old truck and one time in the new truck with no mention of tint.

Highly recommend one of these. Can't steal the cart via rolling it onto a trailer either.
The amount of money that the mortgage companies will approve people for is ridiculous. I finished grad school five years ago and had a little bit of cash in the bank. I was not interested in throwing money away, renting so we wanted to buy. I contacted the mortgage company less than a month after starting my full-time job. What they approved me for verse my salary was sickening.

After being in that house a little over three years, we sold it and bought our long-term home in the area. We wanted to be in because of the Market boom. We got fairly lucky at having to overpay for our current house and have a 1.9% interest rate. We spent around 100 K on renovations. I’m just glad we got in when we did. We have some friends that are currently looking to buy near us and can’t find anything affordable with the current rates.

That's a pretty good stumble in his condition. Over 3/4 mile

We went out a few months ago and I had a coworker who was supposed to stay at another coworkers house that was within walking distance leave the bar without telling anyone and stumble 1.2 miles in the wrong direction. Just happened to get picked up by someone he knew who saw him walking... He had put a truckstop carwash in his phone and that was where he was headed.
Ok so the penthouse was before Happys? That would make more sense.
So I just read through majority of the second half of the thread, but didn’t see any rough timeline.

From what I gather there was a FaceTime call to the Wife from the PMAC?
Then he gets kicked out of Happys around 11:30 PM?
He at some point goes to the penthouse off college.
He hits up some ATMs multiple times? (Same ATM? Different ATM?)
Then he ends up at the Greyhound bus station on Florida at 2:30 AM and that is the last he is reportedly seen?

No way he made it to all those locations without transportation. I’m guessing it’s not a ride sharing app because that would be easy enough to track. A cab operator would come forward I would think because it would be fairly easy for him to prove his innocence. That would leave personal vehicle of someone he met?

Sorry, if this is been going over before, but I did not see it in the last 20 pages.
We live in downtown too. That’s disappointing to hear… I’ve left lawn mowers and bikes under my carport many of times and never had an issue even with living on a main cut through street. We LOVE the downtown area.

Another plus is being able to take a golf cart to pretty much anywhere downtown or any SLU event.
I would certainly say baseball is the strong suit but athletics in general are on the up and up. Football is consistently making the FCS playoffs and puts on one heck of a show on Saturday nights. Basketball (Mens & Womens) lost in the conference championship game last year as did softball. Soccer and Baseball won conference championships. Volleyball is way on the up and up.
I went to SLU as did my wife. We moved back to get out of the greater BR area a year ago and couldn't be happier. PLENTY of great restaurants. A beautiful downtown area with some good plans for the future. The university provides entertainment from athletic events and arts. Live music a good bit of the time. Crime happens but it is typically contained to certain areas. Like mentioned earlier, the university has some very good programs. The education and nursing programs are top notch and business and kinesiology are both good as well. Downtown area is very nice but hard to find houses for sale if you are looking for something move in ready. Another nice area is out by Oak Knoll by the airport. Hammond High can be rough but it is now a magnet school and if you are in the magnet program you don't really associate with general population. St. Thomas is the catholic high school and deals with it's share of "private school problems" Overall, we have been very happy with our decision.
I told her I would push the issue of crime continues. Now that we have a child she is seeing more things. The recent BR shooting had her asking a lot of questions of what to do if she finds herself in certain situations. I love being close to family and I do love Louisiana for it’s friends, family, food atmosphere but at some point quality of life has to be looked at.
Idaho would be my number 1 choice. However, no shot my wife is leaving her family unless things get a good bit worse around us. We are far enough out… for now
We are looking in Terry Harbor right now. Possibly one of the dockaminiums in Kings Point. Only concern with those is not being able to sell it when the time comes to move on to a camp.

Would I be wrong in thinking that if we built a camp up on pilings on Swamp Drive that unless a crazy large flood came we should be good? I am thinking of doing 3br 2bath camp on pilings with 2 boat slips. If we do that I think that is all we will ever need size wise.
I always look at that one when it goes on sale but have yet to pull the trigger... I want to go by Mike Ward's too and see if some of the scratch and dents might be worth it or if they are pretty much full price.

I know they typically have the stuff online for sale too and they have more stuff in stock online. I ordered a bunch of decoy texas rigs last year when none of the stores had them in stock.

I have made one trip down to my buddies house boat in Venice this year. It isn't even worth the drive it seems. You will have one good day here and there but not like it was when we started hunting down there even 6 or 8 years ago...

Do you not have a garage?

There was also much nicer trucks in the parking lot. I drive a older Silverado crew cab with it’s fair share of dents and dings.

Nope. I have a Louisiana decal with a duck on it. I have 20% tint all around. Well had. It was really cold on the interstate tonight with no drivers window.
