LSU vs. UAB 2000. Let’s just say every experience since then has been better.
Second the nobulls, I’ve had my high top trainers for a month and They are by far the best training shoe I’ve had.
Above all though, make sure to control the things within your power.create good habitat, add guzzlers if you don’t have a water source, implement a standard for what constitutes a deer can be taken and stick to it and make sure anyone that hunts your place does the same. I think there’s a few books on property management for this kind of thing, maybe invest in a couple of those. Congrats on the new digs though looks like you got a nice spot!

Live in San Diego, can confirm it doesn’t get much better than here.
I believe I read that the 1895sbl would be available mid December, other 1895 models coming about a month later.

Pretty much the title.I haven’t had a pointer yet, only had Chesapeake bay retrievers and labs. Any advice from the OB on GSP puppies?
My first LSU game was the UAB game in 2000. Talk about a tragic day
Sorry been off for a few days but yeah I'm a sailor.
Anyone ever hunted the San Diego area?

I just got orders out there and I'd like some input on what people have done for deer hunting the area.

If we're being realistic on stopping power, probably a 458 win mag/ lott controlled round feed.
Possibly a guide gun style 45-70 with hotloads based on capacity.

I agree with what you’re saying, however this isn’t for “shooting into brush”, it’s for being able to get an ethical shot off quickly in a situation where you may only have a couple of moments to take a shot.

I was actually leaning towards going this route, those color case hardened 1886s are beautiful
