Then let another guy run that package. Don't wish for the guy who quit. It's insulting to the current team.

I thought he cost us the entire 2019 draft.
Time for the season to start cuz this argument is getting old. If he plays to potential, it's a great pick regardless of your definition of "cost." If he sucks, then it's a bad pick .
If you define cost as the use the draft pick given by the league, i.e. smith cost us a third and Leonard cost us a fourth and clapp cost us a 7th etc, then yes Davenport cost two first.

If you define cost as payment over what the league gives you, then Davenport only cost one first.

Hopefully they keep six , which would be Thomas, Smith, Carr, Tate, Meredith, Ginn.
I'd only keep two qb's . Brees and Hill. If Brees goes down, season is over anyway and Savage will probably still be available to be signed at that time anyway. If he isn't, some other journeyman qb will be.

the dude is smart(philosophy degree from northwestern), can catch, knows the system, can sing the National Anthem. It would be a mistake to release him.

I'd love Reid, put him on a one year cheap contract and see what happens. I'm still hoping Taysom can be a good backup and future starter so pass on another qb. CK hasn't played for two years. No idea what you'd be getting. Crazy to sign him bec it's be a political lightning rod if you later tried to cut him.

Yae. His ability to play 3 positions Will tip the scales
Was D West until last season but now its Anthony for sure.
These were the numbers as of two days ago. We now have a 1. 5 game lead. Astros have a little easier schedule statistically but it's really a wash.

: Astros (75-50) and Athletics (75-50)
Games remaining: 37 (19 Home, 18 Away for Astros; 18 Home, 19 Away for A's)
Remaining opponent's winning percentage: .484 for Astros; .495 for A's
SportsLine's playoff odds: 94.9 percent for Astros; 84.9 percent for A's
SportsLine's World Series odds: 9.8 percent for Astros; 2.4 percent for A's
