Watched some clips here and there, and have read about what he says he's trying to run offensively. Claims he wants a spread offense and plans on lining up 3-4 wide and incorporate RPOs. Obviously they weren't going to show case the whole play book in the spring game. I'm fairly new to all of this and understanding schemes, you guys tell me what you've seen X's and O's wise and expect this season.

We are going to run a multiple offense. We’ll try and incorporate some spread concepts.

We definitely spread the field, but I dont Think he’s going full on spread. He ran a west coast offense back in the 90s

We’ll see. I just Hope it works.

My thing is, yeah sure run a spread offense against man with a mobile QB, but we have 2 pocket passers, and our goal seems to be to beat Alabama. Alabama mans up against us primarily. Why not go to a bunch formation? Create natural pick plays Trips left with an iffy Oline, and average QB with a weaker arm trying to have him to force an out route to the sideline against man coverage on 2nd and 10 every time is not very smart. Just trying to talk football with you guys, tell me what yall think we should do.

Keys to our success:

1. Steady OL play.
2. A RB to emerge: Curry?
3. Defense is loaded.

He's going to want to make Burrow feel as comfortable as possible. Expects a lot of Ohio State oriented packages (Spread) for him.

You think were gonna all of a sudden run a lot of OSUs offense since Joe transferred Mid summer?

Think it may be easier to get 1 player used to what we’re doing over 10?

From what I have read, they will try to run the RPO offensive. It all starts up front with the offensive line. I don't care what scheme you run, if the oline doesn't come together your done. Typically you are in 11 personnel meaning 1 tight end and 1 running back. You will see a lot more zone blocking scheme. Less power schemes.

Besides the fact that you just registered today and you’re coming here to scout ourselves, I don’t trust you. With that be said, expect the unexpected. By the time we hit 6-0, it will be the greatest love story ever written. Geaux Tigers!

You are making far too much sense for this board. Good luck with trying to speaking football. Nothing on the the site besides a bunch of dudes trying to be first with a smart arse comment. Most of these so called fans have never attended a game, practice or scrimmage. They wait to plagiarize someone else.

Back to football. You're right about the offense. There is no spread or RPO's that's why you lost the Dual Threat guys!

I think spread is certain, but don’t expect much in the way of RPOs.

basically someone who doesn't just come in here to talk shite, and can offer a reasonable explanation for our offensive drought from the film room. Add insight on to what we should try to accomplish offensively to beat opponents... ya that stuff

LSU will run the SC offenses of 2003-2009, only without the Heisman-winning QBs...
