Students can bring a date from another school if that school's principal provides a letter vouching for the date's character. They can bring a date who's not in school if the date provides a copy of their driver's license and SSN, presumably to run a background check.

Good kids don't attend dances for long anymore. They show up to take pics, then leave for private parties.

I don’t get that. So you just waste all that money on dresses and suits?

We always went to the dance when I was in HS. It was packed and you sweated your arse off but we were all usually wasted and it was a fun arse time. Kids today are weird.
