I seldom post anymore, but since I’m friends with a family member I’ll answer this. Caleb pitched his junior year with a torn rotator cuff in his shoulder. LSU gave him cortisone and lidocaine shots to keep him pitching. Anyone who had watched his fr and so season could tell everything had changed with his mechanics, due to the pain of throwing. After the season he went to Andrews in Bham, was told his tendons were shredded and rotator cuff was torn. He had surgery, to “clean it up” but the bottom line was the damage was done and not reversible. He worked his butt off all fall and spring trying to get back on the mound but the new shoulder couldn’t throw 96 anymore, or even close. He graduated with his Civil Engineering degree and has excepted a job with an engineering firm in Bham. Great kid who bleeds purple and gold! Yes I’m a big Caleb fan, he will be remembered for putting the team on his back in ‘17 by earning a win in the sec tournament, the regional, the super regional, and of course the cws. With a season stat line of 7-1, 1.96 era.

Yes Josh's back has healed nicely, he should be back 100%, Gilbert had shoulder surgery last week.

It's why coach never discusses his incoming class until they are all enrolled at LSU. Per NCAA rules he cannot discuss non-scholly players prior to enrolling. He does not want to expose who is and is not on scholly

If a kid is drafted in rounds 1-10 the negotiations took place before the pick. Teams won't risk losing the value if they can't sign a 1-10 pick. Almost every kid who shows up on campus was offered a substantial amount of money out of high school. Feddy and Sanders are both going, both are poor students and really struggle in the class room. Neither want another year of school. Watson is coming back, Dup is not getting much love from scouts and will most likely return. Hess is 50-50. Could get drafted based on size and potential. Very good chance he's back. Petersen and Nowak are no longer on team
