Remember they made a video game based on it, it was terrible. Still played the hell out of it.

Love this movie.
It’s a very good movie. Painfully underrated and under appreciated.
Was gonna say the same.

He comin. :geauxtigers:
Agreed. Here’s hoping our young QBs spend a lot of time with him over the summer. A good tight end can cover up a lot of mistakes.

Give more fuel to beat down LSU on national TV.

How do you mean? By opposing teams or broadcasters?

Having round 1-3 round (later as well) picks does nothing but increase the recruiting potential. HS players and their coaches keep up with the combine. The more pros we have playing on Sunday the better.

I would also be ok with a ban of Ar-rifles. I own 37 firearms and have absolutely no need for an AR.

You don’t own one or want to purchase one, so no one else can have one? That’s some bad logic.

The AR platform has been around since the late 50’s. It’s only been a problem the last decade. I wonder why...
I liked it. I wish the would have given more time to explanations about which does what and why.

A sequel could be nice.
That is the best avatar I’ve ever seen. Teddy Redbones needs an ongoing series.

It was a very loose adaptation and the book ending was totally different lmao, won’t help.

I just saw the film last night. I knew it was a novel, amd I’ve spent the day wondering if the book went into more detail about the characters past, reasons for volunteering, and a lot more. I really liked it, but it seemed a little incomplete. Not the ending, halfway through I knew I wasn’t going to get any straight forward answers but there seemed to be a lot of story left out (about each characters motivation, the teams that came before).

Does the book go into the past expeditions? More backstory?

I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys sci-fi.

It was one of only 2 shows I am willing to pay iTunes for.

But, I believe the new season is available now on Amazon Prime. Last season they put up every episode in a very timely manner, which was much appreciated.

Have fun, I thought this season was one of the best.

Edit, what is Terrarium TV? Is it free or something?

I don’t think they’ve set a released date yet, which is kind of strange. It’s been over a year since the release of the Season 2 and they’ve even released a clip for Season 3.

I hate that about streaming shows. Example; I know Punisher just recently came out, but I’m willing to bet we won’t hear a thing about season 2 until November/December at the earliest.

I am, for sure.

Only problem is, I forgot how season 2 ended. The duality of binge watching...

Edit. No confirmation but, “The Man in the High Castle season 3 doesn't have a confirmed release date as of yet, but rumor has it that it will arrive in early 2018, just slightly later than the first two seasons, which dropped towards the tail end of 2015 and 2016. The show began filming in the last week of June according to recent tweet from Joel de la Fuente, who plays Inspector Kido on the show, so this schedule seems to confirm a winter release.”

Seven games in and you’re talking about benching? Not trying to argue, but benching a player is a roll of the dice. Some see it as a challenge, others can implode. 15 ABs (not good ones) but damn, give the man a few weeks.

So in a thread asking what's up with posters being allowed to bash LSU athletes you stoop to calling a baseball player "trash"?

This, so much this. I’m getting tired of this bashing, across all sports threads.
Is the problem freshman/sophomore pitchers? Watching the games the last couple of weeks I thought there were kinks to be worked out. Nerves, high expectations, etc.

From what I watched a lot of the problems seem to be things that can be worked out after getting a few games under their belt. Given, this rotation isn’t going to set the world on fire. But they can generate enough offense to cover for that if the rotation can iron out the basic problems.

That’s what I meant. NO cakes

re: 2018-19 wideouts amd QBs

Completely agree. But, at the risk of being a homer, these QBs seem like the real deal. I had my doubts about most of the previous QBs, Harris comes to mind. I liked Etling, he didn’t set the world on fire but he was more than serviceable. Mettenberger, liked his toughness.

I don’t obsess over QBs, I obsess over the secondary and LBs. Dlineman also.

But, without worrying about coaching, we have an excellent passing game coming up. At least on paper.

Aranda’s got the D, and I think they’ll be humming. I’m not worried about them at all.

WE MUST SCORE POINTS!

I’m asking for opinions. It’s an honest question.

Edit, also. I know it’s a matter of opinion, but I’m asking which is the most active/fun.

No big deal, just looking for opinions.

I’m moving to New Orleans in a few months. I’ve got friends in Bacchus and Hermes and Endymion. A couple others that I can’t remember. An enormous one and one featuring a sea theme and trident.

I’m an LSU alum. Some are incredibly big. What are the “fun, laid back, but still a solid group of people? Are there any left that aren’t huge?

I know this has been discussed before. But, the season is here.

Also, can someone give me a King Cake recommendation besides Meches? Or is that the way to go?

2018-19 wideouts amd QBs

With a very good WR group coming in (according to the TD early signing tracker) a 5-Star and two 4-stars in Marshall, Jones, and Jenkins ( I believe that’s the correct spelling of their names) do you think that they really like what they see in Brennan or Narcisse? Or are they just keen on staying in-state? Or, could this be a handful of guys that have watched Tiger WRs do very well in the NFL?

I really hope that O and Ensminger can decide on one QB, at least for a season or two.

I don’t want to be overly optimistic, but it seems that regardless of the OC they like what they see from LSU’s future QB’s. I live in Texas, so I don’t hear a lot about LA high school football but, this is a top tier WR crew coming in. Pretty exciting. :geauxtigers:
James Foster, Patrick Surtain, JeMarr Chase? Any news at all?
