Spent four days backpacking in the hoh rainforest the last week of April. We ran into herds of elk multiple times a day with seeing close to 100 total. Jumped a bear on trail and saw tons of deer and grouse. The entire area is absolutely stunning. We wound up hiking 50 miles in our time there. We cant wait to get back to Washington for another backpacking trip. https://ibb.co/z2mTW3R

Enjoyed my time there as well. I’ve been to a decent amount of national parks and olympic is my favorite thus far. Looking forward to Acadia NP in a few weeks near bar harbor, ME.
Did y’all make it over to Rialto beach or the hurricane ridge side ?
