Didn’t see the 100 meters that he won. What I did see was him get the baton in sixth place last leg of the 4X100 relay and blew eveyone away. Didn’t realize how big he is. Generational talent. I sure hope someone can post the video of that…unbelievable!

He ran a wind legal, 1.5 m/s, 10.17 seconds
Which broke the 5A class record of 10.21, set by Jonathan Wade in 2002
And the composite record of 10.20, set by Rod Richardson in 1980
Class 5A 100 times
Not the greatest video, and instagram, but here

Google AI:
A 10.17-second 100-meter dash generally translates to an elite 40-yard dash time in the range of 4.25 to 4.35 seconds
EDIT: His X bio lists his 40 time at 4.29. (And his 100m-10.18)

His dad played for LSU, right?

What do you think about those times, Lester?

The thing is, he’s a great WR too. He has legit WR skills, and with his fearlessness, he could be a RB if he wanted too. He isn’t the dancing fast guy, he is the N/S, run thru you/by you fast guy.

Damn he looks like a running back. Back the truck up for him. Must have.

That sounds good to me

So he’s Jamar Chase?
JC went all in on WR but he had that same build and physicalness early that had many saying he could be a hell of a running back

Les Miles thought Ja’Marr would be a hell of a DB.
Hence his commitment to Kansas.
