Billy Cannon, wanted to play for Johnny Vaught and Ole Miss. But he also wanted to run track and Ole Miss’ track program was crap so he turned his attention to Florida. Unfortunately for the Gators, young Billy was busted rolling Johns outside of a whore house in Baton Rouge. The East BR DA told Billy’s parents that the charges would be dropped if he signed with LSU. The rest is history.

Fickel was hired at cincy by the current USC AD so don’t think he would come to LSU. Franklin is from Pennsylvania and at a premier school already so why would he leave? That leaves Tucker and Aranda. I’m sure they’re good coaches but neither have much experience as head coaches.

I was pulling for Musso and Mario to succeed but when you’re doing a show that’s 99% LSU talk and you don’t know who Nacho Albergamo and Erik Andolsek are then maybe it’s time for Guaranty Media to go back to the drawing board.
