If Dural would have been coached to get out of bounds and had done so LSU would have had at least 40 more seconds in order to score. However it worked out for the best in the long run. Hope the staff now will have more attention to detail.
I realized NOTHING was going to change when on the first series we came out and lined up in the I formation
He did have pressure and we should not have been throwing a pass in that situation anyway. It's all on Lesand Cam it's the scheme and the play calling no QB can be successful when the defense knows what play is coming before the ball is snapped
Only Payton manning or Drew Breese could be successful in this offense. It's a pro offense. We don't have a pro QB. Most other college QB 's take 90 % of their snaps from the gun. Not LSU. Nothing will get better until we get a new head coach and offensive coordinator. Sad but true
I agree that the Les Miles situation was handled shabbily by tha AD. However, I do believe it was time for miles to go. Georgia was able to cut ties with Mark Ritch. I don't see the difference. After a while new blood is needed. What really disturbs me most was his post game comment that no major overhaul was needed and that the engine was pretty stinking strong. That leaves me to believe that nothing will change. Very emotional win but let's face it we only scored 19 points. Not enough to beat quality teams this day and time. I hope I'm wrong but without major changes I believe real Tiger fans will be in for another frustrating season.
We have scored only 30 points in the last 10 quarters of sec play and you think Cameron is a good OC, DUH.
Our players may not but the opposing coaches sure do
Yeah Cam was so successful he got fired
We had one less cause #81 can't block my grandaughter
That offense may have worked when we had a dominant defense and could beat Bama by scoring nine points. Although it really didn't because then we lost 20 zip. As far As your 90%, I don't get your math. Last year we lost to Miss State, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn And ND .We beat Florida, A & M and got lucky vs Ole Miss. Those are the only games that really mattered. That's 3 of 8 or 38%. We still have three to play this year and very well could wind up 4 of 8 or worse if we lose another bowl game. Last three bowl games we are 1 of 3 that's 33%. Get you head out of it. We need major changes on offense. If Cam Cameron is a great coach why did the Ravens fire him, why can't he develop a quarterback or an offense that can score points. without Leornard Fournette this year we might have two wins, maybe.

We are trying to run a pro style offense in a college game and it will not work. There are not very any or very few quarterback that can do this. It takes years to develop abs for this. Even after ther get to the nfl it takes more years.Other successful college teams are using the QB in more creative ways. Example Auburn and Nick Marshall. Malzahn made a great college QB out of him but he will play defense in the nfl if he plays at all. We use Harris as if he's Drew Breese or Payton Maning. Even with Mett, Landry, Becham and Hill we still weren't that great offensively

When a team has their linebackers and a safety playing the run on every down, because that's what we do on every down then play action will work. But you have to be creative and throw where thiose guys are not. Unfortunately creativity is not Les Miles strong point, to say the least. Even the fake field goal that beat Florida, our only score of the second half duh, was designed and actually called by two players not the coaching staff. They could probably design a better offense than Cam Cameron

These are all great ideas but Les miles is too stubborn to change. That would be admitting he's wrong and that he will not do.
You can't get a tie when your out numbered at the point of attack. They had seven and we had 7 minus # 81 which is six plus they had their safety close and coming hard as soon as he saw it was a run. In out predictable offense that's a millisecond.
Yes partly scheme. Bama played a 5 man front where as they usually play a 4. Thus giving them a extra lineman disrupt the blocking scheme and keep Fournette from ever getting started. We are already playing one offensive lineman short as #81 couldn't block my granddaughter. He can't catch either so why does he keep playing? LSU made no adjustments nor did the take advantage of this alignment by runningwide and throwing more to the backs.
How do you say we're second best. Last year we lost to Miss State, Auburn, Arkansas and Bama then lost to Notre Dame. We have three tough games left. If we win them all were second best if not were not even second best. We really haven't even been second best for 5 years.

When you know your up against superior talent that's when coaching an scheming do matter. Otherwise just keep doing the same thing and get the same result. 5 loses in a row I think I would try something different. What have you got to lose.
How about running wide and not at them all the time. Jet sweeps, counters, reverses, other types of misdirection that every other team in college football runs, except LSU. We run right at you no matter what.
