I just bought a Vizio Smart TV for my new house, and I was planning to go ahead and cut the cord, using PS Vue for streaming. The PS Vue app isn’t on my TV as is, but is there a way to download t to the TV or will I have to use chromecast? I do have a PS3 connected to the TV, so if it’s possible to run it through that, that would work too. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

PlayStation 3 is a supported device for Vue so you should be able to watch it from that. If it's too much of a pain to start up the PS every time you want to watch TV, you can use a cheap device like a FireStick or Chromecast and set the TV to start up on the HDMI port you plug it into.

You should be able to download the PS Vue app onto the TV. I don't own a Vizio - but my TCL had an app search tool that I used to download the PS Vue app.

Unless it's changed the Vizio OS is terrible and pretty limited. I wouldn't be surprised if you're not able to download the PSVue app. I know I couldn't a couple years ago.

I would recommend purchasing a 4k firestick for using PSVue.

I mainly use vue on my ps4 & firetv. When I first started using Vue the OS was real laggy on fire stick, has that improved at all?
